2023 Barrington Farmers Market - Vendor Contract

Please read this section completely, check all boxes and sign before returning to event organizers. This is a contract which confirms that you have read, understand and agree to all of the terms below. Failure to follow these requirements can result in the termination of your participation in this and in future events, all at the discretion of the event organizers.

 

Vendor Equipment Agreement: I will safely secure my tent and station with the listed required equipment, to assure the safety of myself and the vendors/guests around me. If I fail to do so, I assume all responsibility for all damages caused to myself and/or my products.  

Vendor Checklist: Vendors required to provide:

• 10’x10’ Tent - **This is an outdoor rain or shine event**
• Tent Weights
• Table(s)
• Cash (for making change) and/or Electronic Payment Device
• Valid Rhode Island State Sales Permit (if applicable)
• Prices clearly displayed

   

Registration Payment: I understand that my table fees must be paid in full prior to the end of each event, and that non-payment of this fee allows organizers to deny my participation in this and future events. I acknowledge that this fee is non-refundable for no-shows. All Refunds/Credits are at the discretion of the event organizers.    

Vendor Conduct Agreement: I will be polite and respectful to all event staff, fellow vendors and guests. I understand that I will not receive a refund for my table fee if I am asked to leave for misconduct.    

Resale product is not permitted: I verify that all of my products being sold are self-made. I understand that resale products are not permitted at this market.    

Rhode Island State Sales Permit Agreement: I understand it is the responsibility of all vendors to research and precure the appropriate licensing per the State of Rhode Island’s 2023 Sales Tax guidelines. I understand it is the seller’s responsibility to verify tax exemption and-or licensing requirements. I have been offered the option to request a One-Day RI State Sales Permit from the event organizer prior to the event (see page: 3 to request a One-Day RI State Sales Permit).

• Completed Application
• Signed Vendor Contract
• Attached valid RI State Sales Permit or Requested a One-Day RI Sales Permit (if applicable).
